  • Warm welcome and introduction to the adventure

  • Safety briefing, gear preparation, and paddle practice

  • Embark on a scenic 90-minute duckie ride down the Jatun Yaku River

  • Set up camp on a serene riverside beach.

  • Enjoy a woodfire-cooked dinner where you can take part in the cooking process, learning traditional methods used by the local communities

  • Discover the steps to prepare cacao and enjoy tasting this delicious, freshly made drink

  • Learn about the preparation of guayusa, a traditional Amazonian tea

    • Around the campfire, we'll discuss the impact of mining on local populations and the environment. Learn how the mining industry affects the people of the Amazon and their way of life

    • Overnight in tents or hammocks, surrounded by jungle and river sounds

    day 2 :

    • Morning yoga on the beach after a traditional guayusa tea

    • Breakfast

    • Two thrilling duckie rides totaling four hours with a stop for lunch in Puerto Napo

    • As you travel by boat, observe the environmental impacts of mining in the area. See firsthand the changing landscapes, the machines, and the destruction left behind

    • Arrival at a new campsite, welcomed by a local Kichwa family

    • Cultural evening with traditional music, legends, and a sacred rapé ceremony

    • Discuss the environmental changes observed during the ride and how they relate to the broader impacts of mining in the region

    • Overnight in hammocks or tents

    day 3 :

    • Breakfast

    • Cultural workshops: learn about chicha preparation, blowgun skills, gold washing (traditional way), pottery, and natural fiber weaving

    • Farewell and return to Tena

    • Round-trip from Tena, listed activities snacks and meals (4 meals)

    • Guide and safety kayaker, inflatable duckies, life jackets, paddles, and helmets.

    • Dry bag, mosquito-net hammocks and tents.
