Who are we ?
ReGeneración Travel Agency is a locally rooted travel agency based in Ecuador, creating thoughtful and responsible journeys that connect people with nature, local communities, and living cultures across the Amazon, Andes, and Galápagos Islands.
The agency was born from the collaboration between Astrid, a French tourism professional, and Jey, an Ecuadorian Kichwa kayaker from the Bellavista community in the heart of the Amazon rainforest. From the beginning, ReGeneración has been shaped by first-hand local knowledge, cultural diversity, and meaningful human connections
Based in Tena, in Ecuador’s Napo region of the Amazon rainforest, we design immersive travel experiences that invite travelers to slow down, reconnect with nature, and engage respectfully with local communities.
Our journey began in 2024, after years of shared experiences in Ecuador and deep relationships with the territories we work in. What started as a personal path became a collective project rooted in ethical values, local partnerships, and long-term collaboration.
Today, we focus on Ecuador’s most powerful regions, from the Amazon rainforest and Indigenous territories to the Andean highlands and the Galápagos Islands, creating travel experiences that go beyond tourism and foster genuine understanding and respect.
Why ReGeneración ?
ReGeneración reflects a new generation of travelers and creators, often described as zillennials, shaped by global connections, environmental awareness, and cultural diversity. For us, values like responsibility, respect, and care for nature are not trends, but part of how we live and travel.
We believe travel is a space for exchange: of stories, knowledge, traditions, and perspectives. Many of the journeys that inspired ReGeneración began with people who opened their homes, shared their cultures, and trusted us with their vision of the world.
Through ReGeneración, we aim to offer an alternative approach to tourism in Ecuador, one that supports local livelihoods, respects ecosystems, and creates meaningful experiences with a positive, lasting impact.
