  • Depart from Baños in a private van for a scenic 3-hour drive to Chimborazo, Ecuador’s tallest mountain

  • Arrive at Hmos Carriel refuge (15,748 ft) and begin a 40-minute hike to Edward Whymper refuge

  • Climb to Thilman Glacier (16,404 ft) to explore the icy terrain and take in breathtaking views

  • Return to Hmos Carriel refuge and switch gears for the biking adventure

    • Bike down the mountain roads toward San Juan or Riobamba

    • Spot local wildlife such as alpacas and vicuñas as we make our way back

    • Return to Baños

  • Bike and helmet, professional and experienced bilingual guides, transportation, lunch and snack. **Tips for guides NOT included.
