Discover a different side of San Cristóbal’s highlands on this scenic 23 km guided biking adventure. Begin with a 20-minute drive to El Junco Lagoon, the island’s only freshwater crater lake, where you can spot frigatebirds and ducks while enjoying panoramic views. From there, ride through the rural community of La Soledad, surrounded by lush farms and grazing lands. Visit a local farm and viewpoint (depending on availability) before continuing to El Progreso, the island’s first settlement. Pass through the coffee-growing region of El Socavón, then enjoy a thrilling descent back to town along the dedicated cycling path. Perfect for active travelers looking to explore beyond the coast.

Most of the tour takes place on dirt trails and rural roads, some of which can be steep, muddy, or slippery. This activity is suitable only for participants with basic mountain biking experience.
Rain is common in the highlands, you may get wet or muddy.
The only restroom is located at the farm, approximately two hours after the tour begins.
Please eat adequately before the tour and bring snacks if you think you’ll need them.
