day 1 :

  • Reception with refreshing Guayusa and Ishpingo tea

  • Orientation and settling into our comfortable accommodations

  • Foraging walk to gather local ingredients and prepare a traditional “maito”

  • Night walk along the wetland trail and canoe return through the Sinchi Warmi lagoons

  • Dinner

  • day 2 :

    • Guayusa Ceremony – 4:00 a.m. Wake-up call with a giant conch shell

    • Ruku Mamas (wise grandmothers) share Kichwa traditions and customs.

    • Enjoy Guayusa infusion and macerated medicinal plants. Purification with healing herbs and rapé ceremony with natural medicine and tobacco (chili optional).

    • Experience the healing power of nettle therapy

    • Traditional breakfast

    • Hike to Las Latas waterfall (40 minutes through primary and secondary rainforest)

    • Lunch

    • Tubing down the Misahuallí River

    • Learn about cassava cultivation and participate in the preparation of traditional yuca chicha

    • Chocolate making demonstration and tasting

    • Dinner

    day 3 :

    • Start the day with a delicious local breakfast

    • Canoe exploration to the “Amazónico” wildlife rescue center, located in the “Selva Viva” protected forest (1,400 hectares)

    • Discover the Kaiman lagoon

    • Visit a traditional ceramics house and participate in ancestral fishing techniques

    • Lunch by the river

    • Creative afternoon – craft your own artwork using natural fibers, seeds, and dyes

    • Night of stories and legends

    • Special dinner featuring a starter with grilled chontacuru skewer (palm worm)

    • Rest and relax

    day 4 :

    • Enjoy one last delicious breakfast

    • End of the experience
