Pick-up in Tena and transfer to the lodge
Welcome with guayusa tea
Presentation of Puka: his story, artistic vision, and the fusion of Kichwa tradition and modern design
Visit to a local clay deposit to gather raw clay by hand
Clay therapy at the river: feel the texture, connect with nature, and enjoy a relaxing moment
Dinner and rest in a peaceful Amazonian setting

Clay cleaning and preparation (ancestral techniques)
Learn about the symbolism and colors behind Amazonian designs
Begin working with natural clay to shape test pieces

Time to relax or swim in the river

Workshop: create your main piece with Puka’s guidance (vessels, faces, masks...)
Learn Puka’s modern techniques: use of molds, balance of form and function, personal style
Personal time to work with clay and ask questions

Continue to work on your ceramic piece
Optional: river meditation or sketching session in nature

Finishing touches and smoothing techniques
Learn two types of firing:
Traditional wood firing in open flame
Modern electric kiln firing for contrast and precision
Introduction to natural and glass-based pigments

Group relaxation by the river

day 5 :
Collect your fired pieces
