After a warm welcome in Tena, meet your guide for a safety briefing, gear preparation, and paddle practice. Begin a scenic duckie ride along the Jatun Yaku River, navigating calm stretches surrounded by lush Amazonian landscapes.

Arrive at a peaceful riverside beach where camp is set for the night. Take part in preparing a woodfire-cooked dinner, learning traditional cooking methods used by local communities. Discover how cacao and guayusa are prepared and enjoy these ancestral Amazonian drinks.

As night falls, gather around the campfire to discuss the social and environmental impacts of mining in the Amazon and how it affects local populations. Overnight in tents or hammocks, accompanied by jungle and river sounds.
