Walk through the cacao plantation to discover native cacao varieties and the permaculture techniques used to grow them. Take part in harvesting ripe cacao pods, learning how to select the perfect fruit and extract the fresh beans.Continue to the fermentation and sun-drying areas, where you’ll explore each step of the post-harvest process that develops cacao’s unique aroma and flavor.
Finish your visit by tasting freshly harvested cacao pulp and enjoying a comforting cup of traditional hot chocolate made on the farm.
