Explore the stunning coastline of San Cristóbal Island on this guided kayaking and snorkeling adventure. Starting from Shipwreck Bay (Bahía Naufragio), your certified guide will provide a safety briefing before you begin paddling along the calm, turquoise waters of Playa de Oro. As you glide past the rocky shores, observe blue-footed boobies, pelicans, frigatebirds, and lava gulls resting along the cliffs, while playful sea lions often swim nearby to join the fun. After about 30 minutes of paddling, you’ll arrive at Darwin Bay, a peaceful spot perfect for snorkeling. Dive into the crystal-clear water to discover an incredible underwater world filled with tropical fish, sea turtles, rays, starfish, and sea urchins.

  • Swimsuit, reef-safe sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, water shoes or sandals, refillable water bottler.

    PLEASE NOTE:

    • Minimum age: 6 years old

    • This activity is suitable for participants who can swim, snorkel, and have prior experience kayaking in the ocean. You must be able to re-enter your kayak from open water independently and paddle continuously for about 30 minutes against possible wind or current on the return route.

    • Expect to get completely wet, do not bring any items that are not waterproof.

    • Climbing on rocks or the platform in Darwin Bay is strictly prohibited.

    • You will not disembark during the tour, except at the beach where the excursion starts and ends.

    • The need for wetsuits will be advised depending on the season.
