day 1 :
Meeting at 09:30 am in Lago Agrio and transfer by van to the entrance of Cuyabeno Reserve
Scenic canoe ride along the Cuyabeno river, where you’ll begin spotting the region’s incredible wildlife
Arrival at the ecolodge, check-in, and a delicious lunch
Afternoon exploration of Laguna Grande, one of Cuyabeno’s highlights. Swim with the pink dolphins and witness a breathtaking sunset
Night jungle walk to discover the nocturnal creatures of the rainforest, followed by dinner and an informative talk with your naturalist guide

day 2 & 3 :
Wake up to the mesmerizing sounds of the jungle: birds singing, tree frogs croaking, and the wind rustling through the trees
Morning rainforest trek along the Cuyabeno River, where you’ll encounter giant trees, orchids, medicinal plants, and a wide variety of Amazonian wildlife
Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation in hammocks or lounge areas with panoramic jungle views
Afternoon canoe excursion to Laguna Grande, where you can enjoy the serene landscape and swim near the playful pink and grey dolphins
Dinner at the lodge
Night canoe safari: a thrilling ride in search of black caimans and other nocturnal creatures, surrounded by the mysterious sounds of the rainforest
day 4 :
Visit to the Siona Indigenous Community: travel by canoe to meet the local tribe and learn about their traditions, culture, and ancestral knowledge
Participate in making casabe, a traditional yuca-based dish.
Enjoy a typical Amazonian lunch in the community
Meeting with the shaman: experience the spiritual world of the Amazon, learning about healing rituals and ancestral wisdom
Time to purchase authentic handcrafted souvenirs made by the community
Return to the lodge, with opportunities to spot more wildlife along the way
day 5 :
Early morning canoe trip for an incredible birdwatching experience as the Amazon wakes up. Spot colorful birds and playful monkeys along the riverbanks
Optional kayaking adventure on the Cuyabeno River’s black waters
Visit one of Cuyabeno’s most famous lagoons, where you may have another chance to see the pink dolphins
Breakfast at the lodge before your return canoe ride to the park entrance
Transfer back to Lago Agrio or Quito

Transportation from the meeting point in Lago Agrio to the Ecolodge and back, boat transport to the Ecolodge, accommodation, 3 meals a day (except breakfast on the first day and dinner on the last day), boots and rain ponchos for excursions, tea and purified filtered water, electricity for charging batteries, daily explorations with guides, including equipment and canoes, bilingual guides (English/Spanish).
